See Sonny Landreth, Win a Custom Arlen Ness Chopper during Street Vibrations at John Ascuaga’s Nugget

Sparks/Reno, Nev. – Blues-rocker Sonny Landreth is one of the most accomplished – if not mainstream - guitarists on the planet. Content with forging his own path in the music world, Landreth thrives in a live setting. Be prepared to be impressed when Landreth hits the Celebrity Showroom stage September 25, during the height of Street Vibrations, at John Ascuaga’s Nugget.
A “musician’s musician,” this slide master is likely best described to the uninitiated by his friend Eric Clapton, who said Landreth is, “probably the most underestimated musician on the planet and also probably one of the most advanced." Landreth has developed a technique where he frets notes and plays chords and chord fragments behind the slide while he plays. He holds the slide on his little finger, so that his other fingers have more room to fret behind the slide. He's also known for a unique right-hand technique, which involves tapping, slapping, and picking strings, using all of the fingers on his right hand. He has worked steadily for decades, producing many critically-acclaimed albums and working with the industry’s biggest names, while amassing a following among his fans and peers.
Sonny Landreth plays September 25, in the Celebrity Showroom at John Ascuaga's Nugget. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are just $15 and are available by calling (800) 648-1177 or (775) 356-3300 or by visiting janugget.com. Dinner and show packages are available. “Do the Nugget Tonight!”
