The Nugget’s award-winning chefs have created special menus to be served in the Rotisserie, the Rose Ballroom, Restaurante Orozko and Rosie’s Café.
A special Mother’s Day brunch will be served in the Rose Ballroom and in the Rotisserie. The appetizer station will include King Crab & Seafood Salad, Asian Chicken Salad, Smoked Salmon and a Roma Tomato & Red Onion Salad. Feast on Eggs Benedict, Combo Seafood Pan Roast, Biscuits and Country Gravy, Huevos Rancheros and Nugget’s Fried Chicken. At the Carving Station, create your own omelet or waffle, or enjoy the Nugget’s famous Salt-Roasted Prime Rib, honey-baked ham or roast turkey. Restaurante Orozko will serve a champagne brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to appetizers, a Fresh Fruit and Pastry Station will offer Berries with Whipped Cream, Seasonal Fresh Fruit and Melons, Brioche, Coffee Cakes and an Imported and Domestic Cheese Board. The Entrée Station will feature Top Sirloin Steak w/ Wild Mushrooms Sautéed, Chorizo and Asiago Cheese Frittata and an Orozko Zarzuela, plus a carving station. Italian Music Man Pasquale Esposito Plays Special Sunday Night at John Ascuaga’s NuggetSparks/Reno, Nev. – Pasquale Esposito has a magical voice. He is the Italian Music Man. See him live one night only, Sunday, April 26, in the Celebrity Showroom at John Ascuaga’s Nugget.
Esposito was born and raised in Naples, Italy. He comes from a large loving family that has supported his passion for music. He is the youngest of five with four older sisters. Esposito developed his love for music at a young age singing in the church choir. While living in Italy, he enjoyed sharing his vocal gifts with others at local piano bars. His performances at these intimate venues created an opportunity for Esposito to develop and share his prodigious vocal talents and his rich emotional side with his audience. Indeed, he is able to penetrate right into the emotional heart of any song, classical or contemporary, with his warm tenor voice. Esposito transforms the spirit of crowds of all age groups with the sheer power of his unforgettable voice.
In 1998, Esposito decided to immigrate to the United States where he would be able to further his goal of becoming a professional singer and songwriter. Esposito began to further his education by taking courses for a Bachelor of Arts in Music at San Jose State University. His primary focus is opera. He expects to graduate in 2009. Throughout his coursework, Esposito has received training from world-renown faculty who have developed Esposito both as an individual and as an artist. (more)
Esposito’s love of Italian language and culture is apparent in his CDs: “My Passion” (2000), “My Destiny” (2004), “Naples … That’s Amore!” (2005) and “Il Fornaio: Authentic Italy, Vol. 1”(2008). These works reveal Esposito’s remarkable capacity to perform both classical and contemporary Italian, English, Neapolitan and Spanish standards. Most recently, Esposito has finalized his latest CD: “A Brand New Me” consisting of original compositions in his distinctive pop-opera style. The making of this CD was an international collaboration of many talents. The music and lyrics were written by Esposito and Antonio Aprile, a composer and an arranger from Naples, Italy. The recording of the CD took place in Italy and the United States under the supervision of Antonio Aprile and Ettore Gatta.

En Vogue is a female vocal quartet that exudes sultriness and intelligence in addition to vocal proficiency. Fusing R&B and girl group traditions with hip-hop and new jack swing rhythms, they have crafted an image as stylish, sophisticated, and sexy success. En Vogue's debut album, Born to Sing, appeared in 1990 and launched the pop crossover smash "Hold On," which peaked at number two and helped the album go platinum. The group attracted comparisons to the Supremes, even though members shared lead vocals and intentionally designated no particular singer the "star."
